Google continues dominating search engine market in the UK and Europe.
After looking around various search engines statistics sources I came up with the following statistics figures.
- Google = 88.50%
- Yahoo = 3.80%
- MSN = 3.50%
- Other search engines = 4.2%
FACT: 93% of all online searches in UK begin with search engines.
FACT: 88% of all UK Internet users choose Google.
FACT: Only 7% of Internet users look past the first three pages of search results.
- 706 million searches were undertaken by UK internet users in August 2008.
- This indicates an increase of 30 million from February 2008.
- That equates to 15,800 searches per minute across UK search engines.
